Gabrielle golden cuff

I recently received this golden cuff that was purchased from a long time collector who adquired it from the It’s a Wrap! Auction from a box labeled “Gabrielle stuff”. After a bit of research, this cuff was seen in the episode “The God you Know” from season 6 worn by Gabrielle played by Renée O’Connor in her right wrist.

Definitely there two facts that are why I believe it came from that episode: firstly, this style of cuffs were worn by Gabrielle during the last seasons, mostly in episodes “Who is Gurkham?” and “The God you Know”. On the other hand, this particularly shiny golden pieces were used in the season 6 from the series and to avoid damages the stunt doubles used a foam or leather version of those cuffs.

Marmax Helmet

Recently I received this screen used warrior helmet used by the General Marmax of Mitoa in the episode “Is there a doctor in the house” and worn by a background warrior character from Xena army in the episode “Bitter suite” from season 3.

This is an example of how the prop department re-used some props and costume pieces for different characters during the series, the helmet originally was black and after it was re painted in red to be used in Bitter suite episode.

Screen Used Roman Dagger

Screen used Roman style dagger used by Draco played by Jay Laga’aia in the first episode “Sins of the past” and seen in the series used by the roman soldiers.

Also, this dagger style was used by Gabrielle played by Renée O’Connor to protect a paralyzed Xena from the roman guards in “Ides of March” from season 4, before the crucifixion in the Appenines roman prison. This dagger is made of resin and the painting is still intact, it is in mint condition. It comes with COA and it is described as “Draco’s Dagger”.

A few years ago I had one roman dagger that the blade was made by soft foam but I needed to sell it. So I’m so proud to have it back in my collection.
