Niklio Costume

New arrival! Today I’ve received the screenused Niklio fabric robe used by Niklio played by Nathaniel Lees in the episode “Destiny” from season 2. In this case, this is the "young Niklio" style robe. The seller from New Zealand had adquired a huge lot of Xena and Hercules costumes and props and there were two different robes for the same character. This one is the one worn ten years before when M'Lila brought Xena after being crucified. It has more brilliant colours and the other one, after ten years, seems to be more deteriorated and the colors paler due to the passage of time but they retain the same design and pattern.

This costume never left New Zealand after the show ended. Its quite heavy, I didn't realise how heavy it was until I've had it on my hands. The fabric is a deep blue and a reddish garnet fabric in the sleeves. Also, there is a piece of brown leather suede covering the neck and the front chest with some ethnic drawings painted on it. The belt is a simple garnet pale fabric arround the waist. In the tag is written “Niklio x6”.

Niklio was the healer that assisted Xena when M’Lila brought her after being crucified and having her legs broken by romans. He knows acupuncture techniques that applied to Xena to improve her legs condition. Niklio also assited Xena ten years after when Gabrielle brought her unconscious and finally died.

Salmoneus costume

New arrival! Salmoneus screen used robe costume worn by Robert Trebor in multiple episodes from HTLJ and XWP. This costume never left New Zealand after the show ended. The robe is made of light blue rustic fabric with some fabric decorations arround. In the tag inside is written “Salmoneus”. The costume is in very good condition.

I have been able to screen matched this costume and it was seen in the episode: 2x22 “The Power” from Hercules: The legendary journeys tv series.

Salmoneus played by Robert Trebor was a really loved, lovable and quite funny character that firstly appeared in Hercules tv series in the episode 1x02: "Eye of the Beholder". The character began to have frequent appearances in the series and become a Hercules good friend and sidekick. Also, Salmoneus met Xena in 1x12: "The Gauntlet" and started a very close relationship, so the character  also had various appearances in Xena. He was seen in "The Black Wolf", "Greater good" and sadly his last appearance was in "Here comes... Miss Amphipolis" from season 2.
