Shadow box & swords

Quick update! I just want to share a few photos of my shadow box with some props and my screenused swords and replicas:

In the first photo there is an Hord axe prop in front of an official Creation Xena and Callisto signed photo, an amazon turtle shield prop. 

• First floor: screenused hero Xena metal sword, Gabrielle screenused hero leather sai strap from season 5 and breast dagger replica.
• Second floor: lattice dagger prop, Athena style dagger prop, unknown dagger prop, bettle style dagger prop. 
• Third floor: Gabrielle "The deliverer" style dagger prop, North dagger prop, cannibal dagger prop. 
• Fourth floor: An amazon screenused dagger in the shadow box and Indrajit sword prop. 

In the right side of the shadow box it is an amazon metal sword replica in a screenused amazon scabbard with arrows props.

In this second photo there are plenty of swords, left to right: Helicon amazon style sword replica, Helicon Queen amazon style sword replica, roman lion head sword prop, skull style sword prop, Wealthea stunt sword prop, Egyptian Cleopatra sword prop, double lion head roman sword prop, roman sword prop, centaur metal retractable sword in Ares screenused leather sheath prop,  Evil Xena sword prop, Valkyrie sword prop, Callito metal sword replica, Brunhilde sword prop and large knife prop.

 

Screenused Wealthea stunt sword & sheath

Recently arrived this screenused Wealthea style sword used in the North episodes from season six and used by Xena played by Lucy Lawless in the episode "The Return of the Valkyrie", this episode was filmed in July 2000 in New Zealand so have passed 22 years since then.

This stunt sword combines hard resin in the handle with soft closed cell foam in the blade to avoid damages in the actors during fights. There is a metal rod inside the sword to prevent it from bending.

This sword was probably used in the scene when Xena fight Waltraute arround the fire circle where is a sleeping Gabrielle.

The sword is a quite long piece, probably the longest I have with the double head lion sword, read more...

It has a few damages in the blade, however the foam from the blade is in good condition after 22 years... This sword came with a Valkyrie style sheath made of real leather with a braid of rope around, that fits perfectly to the sword.
