Screenused Copper cuffs

 Ive always loved the copper pieces from the series, copper is a living material that reacts to the weather, temperature,humidity and the oils of hands so its quite important to do a maintenance for them. However, this gaunlets are in mint condition to have been in storage for 25 years. Note: Ive learned that about the copper from my friend Doug, from Brazil that is an excellent copper worker, so  the advise is from him.

This gaunlets were used by the Artemis women high guard soliders seen on the episode "Eternal bonds" from season 5.

Both gaunlets are aged copper, with some rivets and dark brown leather.

Also, you can see the that the round metal emblems are the same ones used in Xena's sword pommel.

In the back part is written "Female Wrist" and a tag says "Smoove",not sure what that means, name? character?, actress?.

This bodice is from is made from the same materials of the cuffs, leather and aged copper. Also from the episode "Eternal bonds" from season 5, worn by the blond girl on the screencap photos below. Check it!

Screenused daggers

Last month Ive received a package straight from New Zealand with some screenused props and a pair of cuffs. Finally, I have the chance to show them to you. There are three resin daggers and a pair of copper cuffs. I will make a new entry just for the cuffs, now is the moment of the daggers.

Gabrielle Hero Season 3&4 Costume

 This month was my birthday and Ive received on Friday the best present I could ever had: The amazing screenused costume from season 3&4 used by Gabrielle played by Renée O'Connor. I have to admit I was a bit obsessed with this costume, I have replicated it in two times and finally I can have a piece of history and a treasure for my collection, definitely.

This costume came with the COA from the It'sAWrap Auction in 2001, where it was sold.

Finally I can get together mosty the complete most iconic Gabrielle costume:

Green Hero Top: In my opinion the most interesting thing is the leaves embroidery all over the top, and the plenty of small beads it has, arround 40 pieces. Also, the special rustic cotton fabric is quite interesting, never seen this kind of fabric before. In addition, after comparing many Gabrielle screenused costumes like this one from others collectors Ive realized that the ones that were used by stunts, the placement of the beads wasnt so accurate than the ones used by the main actress, Renée. As I know from some friends that own these costume from stunts the top size is really small, like XS, probably because the stunts were extremely athletic. In this case, the top will be a small size, probably because Renée had more breast at that moment. It is in mint condition and very clean.

• Hero Belt: is made of genuine brown orange leather, with plenty of painted geometric detailes that are also embroidered all of them. On the inside, there is a purple/red fabric, and three pieces of velcro to be attached to the skirt. It is in mint condition, although some velcro pieces needs to be glued again to the belt, cause they were glued.

• Hero Skirt: is made of a rustic fabric in a brown reddish tone. When I saw it the first time Ive realised how small it was, its pretty short and the size is maybe 26/27. (XS or S). It is in very good condition.
• Bag/Purse: This leather purse was used by Gabrielle in season 2 & 3, till the character changed for a more actual back bag. Due to inevitable deterioration over the years, it is beginning to lose a bit of hair and some beads are missing. Even though is still in great condition.

Soon I will take some close-ups of every details and post them as I can. I'm looking for the screenused red boots of this costume, if anyone knows anything or want to sell them I will be interested in them.

Roman Uniform Photoshoot

 As if I was in the antique Rome, here I am with the complete roman uniform w/ helmet, sword and dagger. The background is from the episode "When in Rome" when Xena fights against roman gladiators during the time Gabrielle helps Vercinis to get out of prision.

"Xena was there" Photoshoot

 Hi guys! This weekend I had enough time to take some pictures outside, I really enjoyed rhat morning taking plenty of photographs of the main xena weapons and a new special guest starring, the Xena Saddle bag prop replica Ive made after years of searching for references and saving HD photos of Argo's saddle bag.

This Photoshoot is called "Xena was there" because after, when I was at home uploading the photos on my computer Ive felt like it could be like Xena was there minutes before leaving her weapons and bag while getting ready to take a bath,looking for some deer to eat or maybe fishing her way like in the episode "A day in a life" from season 2.
